Nature of the study

This study has two components: the first phase examining the perspective of elementary school teachers on family-school communication and the quality of the teacher-parent relationship, was carried out in the spring of 2023. The second part of the project focuses on the perspective of parents of elementary school children on the same topics. We are now seeking your participation to the second component of this study.

Nature of participation

Your participation in this study involves filling out two questionnaires (approximately 40 minutes; fall 2024 and spring 2025). The questionnaire focuses on the communication and quality of your relationship with the class teacher of your child enrolled in elementary school this year, and on various factors that might influence this relationship, such as certain characteristics related to your personal situation and the school environment.

In appreciation of your participation, we will give you a $10 Archambault gift card upon completion of each questionnaire.
